The truth about exclusive MLM Leads

Why buying exclusive leads often reduces your ROI!!

We are often asked why as a company we don't offer 100% exclusive leads for some of our countries.
Basically in most cases you won't be getting what you pay for!

The problem with exclusive leads is that in over 90% of cases, they aren't exclusive!
This is not that lead companies are being unscrupulous and selling old resold leads as exclusive, it has to do with the nature of the internet and the 21st century.

For example:
Let's take a lead called "John Smith"
Now John wants to find a "work from home business opportunity"
So John being the internet savvy guy he is, jumps on google and does a search for 'work from home business opportunities'.

Much to John's delight, Google gives him 1,010,000,000 search results!
This is fantastic! However what do you think the chances are that John will only inquire about one of these while doing his research, and won't leave his information anywhere else... pretty small.

So you have just paid 10 dollars plus for your Australian Exclusive Search Engine MLM Lead. This is great, but when you contact them you hear they are already talking to someone from your company, or have already been approached about a similar opportunity. This is confusing because you have bought an exclusive lead and paid good money though!

Then after 24-48 hours most lead companies will then resell the once live exclusive lead as a 'fresh aged lead', so just when you are following up after getting your information to the prospect, they are being prospected again by someone who bought the aged lead. Doesn't sound very exclusive does it!

Here is a smarter idea:

Pay one quarter of the cost upfront, and share the lead with up to 3 other 'different companies' and customize the leads you receive so they suit your business. This is ideal for a couple of reasons. First it empowers the prospect! Those who join your business will stay there as they have been exposed to other opportunities and chose yours as the best for them, knowing all the facts.

The next thing is it gives you a wider spread of contact. It is often said in network marketing is a numbers game, talk to ten, recruit 3, and 1 becomes a good associate. This is Jim Rohn's philosophy to this business for example. By getting more live leads for your dollars, you will get a larger base of people to contact.
You can also soften losses from bad leads. Some leads are not very ideal (not interested in your business, or maybe you don;t think they are suitable for the opportunity after speaking), but in most cases lead companies only replace leads with bad contact details. If you receive a lead that has correct details but is not suitable, would you have rather paid 10 dollars for it, or 2.50.

Working this business in the 21st century is very different, and consumers are more empowered than ever. So realise that even though you think you 'exclusive leads' are only speaking with you, they often have their fingers in some other pies. That's the nature of the information age!
